Hangzhou will add 28 commercial complexes across the city by the end of 2018, according to a Daily Business report yesterday. Their total business area will reach more than 2 million square meters
Out of the 28 commercial complexes, 10 of them will be in suburban Yuhang District, and seven of them will open to public in the first half of this year.
There are few lands available in central business districts, so real estate developers choose outskirts to build commercial complexes near new residential areas and shopping centers, according to Hu Shanhong, chairwoman of Hangzhou Xinghui Holding Co., Ltd.
The commercial property complexes include hotels, shops, offices, service apartments, restaurants and entertainment venues. And over half of the areas will be used as restaurants, entertainment, leisure and sports facilities.
