Just as Hangzhou people waved goodbye to cold winter on Saturday, then came a backlash as a powerful cold front swept through North China yesterday and dumped rain on the city, local meteorologists said.
Today is rainy with temperatures between 11 degrees and 6 degrees Celsius. The weather will turn from drizzle to cloudy tomorrow and remain the same on Wednesday with a high of 14 degrees and a low of 4 degrees.
The rain will return on Thursday and continue through Saturday as the temperature edges up slightly to a range between 15 degrees and 9 degrees. Sunday will be cloudy with the same temperatures.
Northern and central China will experience a big drop in temperature and heavy rains, even snowfalls, in some portions, such as the eastern part of Qinghai and Gansu provinces, the southern part of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, central Shaanxi and Henan provinces, and northwestern part of Hubei Province.
