Gongshu District organizes Chinese New Year activities for migrant workers

Sanitation workers toast to each other in celebrating Chinese New Year at a banquet organized by Gongshu District on Monday. Nearly 300 migrant workers were invited to join the celebration. Chinese New Year, also called Spring Festival, falls on February 16 this year, and before that Gongshu District Trade Union Federation has planned a series of activities for migrant workers and employees with financial difficulties in order to ensure that they will also have a happy holiday.

Old people happy with new images

A couple of octogenarians are all smiles when posing for pictures to be taken by professional photographers on a bridge over the Guanhe River in Xixing Community in Binjiang District yesterday.
